Laszlo's book is fantastic. will definitely have a go at the principles for AS and SS. The Eye is Quicker is kinda full of stuff i already knew. but yeah.. guess it's never too late for a refresher.

Keywords: Camera, Story-Telling, Multimedia

Abstract

Camera techniques and placement play an integral part in story-telling. There are a strict set of rules in place regarding shot framing and composition. Is it possible to break these rules to achieve better viewing experience? Or will it just disorient audiences?

ABSTRACT

With the rise of intelligent, cheap and efficient autonomous devices, society is turning to digital technology to accomplish increasingly complex tasks. With computers taking over and executing tasks once done by humans, vital skills could be lost forever.

By digitalizing the world, society is placing itself in a parlous situation. A whole generation, growing up with computers, becomes reliant on digital technology. Like all man-made inventions, digital technology will fail at one time or another and whole economies and societies will become crippled. Unless certain issues are addressed, society is placing itself at risk of doing irreparable damage in the quest for the Digital Future.
